For my capstone, I wanted to reflect the girlhood I have experienced with such a loving group of women in my life. I spent time capturing simple moments amongst these women and having them speak their minds about being a girl!

My name is Minna Gersbach and I am graduating from CU with a major in Media Production and minor in Journalism. I am passionate about documentary filmmaking and working in post-production. I have a love for aesthetics and meaningful work, and I think that is reflected very well in what I create!

For my capstone, I spent the semester soaking in moments of girlhood with my closest friends. I enjoy making projects that are personal to me, and I have such an amazing group of girls I am constantly surrounded by. I wanted to create a video diary of sorts to capture the amazingness of these women. I also wanted to capture their thoughts on what it is to be a girl and what they think is so important about girlhood and growing up into women in this life!
