Santiago Quintero is a filmmaker from Costa Rica specializing in narrative storytelling and visual media. With a background in photography and documentary production, he blends stylized visuals with grounded storytelling. He has previously worked on projects with Michelin-starred chefs, hotel chains, and charity organizations to tell their stories from different perspectives. He aims to create visually engaging narratives that surprise and entertain while exploring deeper human dynamics beneath the surface. His work explores themes of identity, community, and nature through intimate visual language and a curiosity for the people and environments that shape everyday life.

Collateral Heist
Collateral Heist is a 10-minute narrative short film that blends dark comedy with crime and chaos. The story follows two small-time robbers, Leo and Mack, who impulsively rob a liquor store and accidentally steal a car, unaware that a kidnapped son of a mob boss is tied up in the trunk. As the situation spirals out of control, the duo becomes entangled in a much larger and more dangerous world of organized crime. What begins as a simple robbery quickly escalates into a violent, absurd, and high-stakes collision of characters.
Drawing from visual storytelling, physical action, and character-driven humor, Collateral Heist explores themes of consequence, desperation, and the unpredictability of human behavior. It aims to entertain while showcasing the chaos that can erupt from one bad decision and the absurdity of trying to control the outcome.
