Fox Hunt is a short documentary about Ben, a Chinese child abandoned by his father in his old grandparents' house.

Trying to catch stories that hiding in the shadow, Yutong Xie is a double major student with Media Production & Journalism. He is passionate about talking, but still trying to seek for the way to find a balance between people's mind and their memories. He believes telling some critical stories at special timepoints can build one's mind stronger, and he is trying to collect and create such footages.
Fox Hunt
Fox Hunt is a short documentary about Ben a child abandoned by his father in his old grandparents' house. He did not have a legal registration, dropped out of school when he was 9, and was constantly threatened by his father with the excuse of love. With the help of his aunt Nyla, he finds his path back to being normal, but he needs a whole life to heal his wound.
Much of this documentary was shot by protagonists. By using these footages, Yutong Xie wants his audiences to experience some of Ben's history by themselves, not just learning the story but finding a taste of living in a traditional Beijing community from the 1970s.
