The Making of Rocky Mountain High is a short documentary highlighting the people involved in and the process of recording a song with Josiah and the Bonnevilles and Trampled by Turtles for the JATB album “Country Covers II”.

Kyle Saunders is a photographer/videographer from Longmont, Colorado that has a passion for capturing the moments he is a part of. His work focuses deeply on people and experiences, with most of his work being made within the music industry. Currently, Kyle is working with the CU Men’s Club Lacrosse team as a photo/video media team member while still taking smaller shows with artists around the area. Kyle’s goal in his work is to be authentic and true to himself and the people/places he is able to capture.

The Making of Rocky Mountain High is a short documentary that highlights the people involved in and the process of recording “Rocky Mountain High”, featuring Trampled by Turtles, by Josiah and the Bonnevilles. Following the musicians in the studio as they make a live recording of the cover for the JATB album “Country Covers II”. This documentary takes you through the process of figuring out the song as a group, recording the song, and creating depth as harmonies and other aspects are added. Just as important as the process, the people are a main focus in this short documentary. Each person in Trampled by Turtles and Josiah himself contribute to the song in their own, irreplaceable way as they all record together live in studio.
