Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome: A Documentary

As a survivor of Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome, I always sought it right to spread awareness, hoping others diagnosed can make it through as well. After becoming a video editor, I realized this was the best way to spread awareness on, not only the condition, but also the surgery that has saved the lives of hundreds of thousands of twin babies, including mine and my brothers. Within this documentary, I emphasize the severity of the condition, and allow my mother to tell the story of how we survived. I also got in contact with the doctor who developed the Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome surgery, also being the one who saved my life. Interviewing Dr. Ruben Quintero, showing his pathway to creating this, was a heartwarming moment, being that he saved my life. The documentary as a whole emphasizes the importance of awareness for this condition.
