Student Academic Success Center Alumni Project

Who We Are:

SASCAP is a group of SASC alumni and students working together to emphasize the diversity of our student body and the potential career opportunities available to them upon graduation. Focusing on the narratives of SASC alumni, we strive to build meaningful, lasting relationships between our past, present, and future students through community-building and networking. Our goal is to create a thriving network of SASC students who are eager to share their stories and experiences and to grow as a community.

What We Do:

SASCAP hosts community and career-building events each semester to connect our current students to alumni.

  1. Proactively expand and support our network through alumni outreach
  2. Foster alum-student mentorships by providing networking events exclusive to SASC students
  3. Recognize distinguished SASC alumni and their contributions to their fields and communities
  4. Conduct research aimed to better understand and identify student needs as they progress through their academic careers and into their professional ones
